I know!!! I like all this lovely weather and our plants have enjoyed it too, perking up after last months hail and wind and rain everyday. But now that we have complained about all that, we now get loads of sunshine and thus burnt leaf edges, cracked soil and hours of filling blinking watering cans and watering are now 2 plots, aaahhhhh, why can’t it just be lovely in the daytime and rain each night – perfect solution. But no, mother nature is so fickle.
Welcome to our allotment blog. We are reclaiming a neglected patch in (very windy) North Yorkshire, and hope to grow much of our own veg this year. We're new at this, but Deadly Earnest. In the area? Get in touch with us at allotmentality@gmail.com for a pint and a heavy discussion of heirloom tomatoes!
